Guidelines for abstract submission
All abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee using the following criteria: scientific content, and relevance to the conference. The corresponding author will be notified about the decision before 22th September 2024.
The selected abstract will be published in the The Journal of peritoneal dialysis society of India Abstracts.
Submission Deadlines

- This page provides guidelines for submitting an abstract in the conference. Authors should strictly follow the guidelines about the layout and style required for submitting the abstract. The abstracts accepted for presentation will be printed in the souvenir of the conference.
- The abstracts for submission should not have been presented in any other conference or have been accepted for publication. Multiple abstracts based on the same study will be summarily rejected.
- All the abstracts are to be uploaded using online registration at the Conference website. There is no need to send hard copies by post or by CDs. The submission deadline will be 20th September 2024.No abstracts will be taken after this deadline.
- The submission of an abstract affirms that all authors named in the abstract have agreed for its presentation in the PDSICON 2024 and its publication in the souvenir and the PDSI journal.
- The submitting/presenting author will be the primary one responsible for the contents of the study and will be deemed to have taken consent from all the co-authors of the study.
- It will the responsibility of submitting author to disclose all conflicts of interest (COI) or any financial/commercial relationships including that of co-authors.
- The source of funding should be disclosed. If there is none, the same should be indicated.
- The submission of an abstract implies the commitment of the author to present the study (if accepted) in the .The preparation, submission and presentation of the study will be the responsibility of the author.
- There is no limit to the number of submission of abstract for each author.
- The presentation will be done in English language in following type of presentation:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster presentation
- The abstract should not be more than 300 words.
- The content of the abstract should be accurate, brief, clear, organized, self-contained.
- Once the abstract is submitted, no revisions/editing will be allowed.
- Inappropriately structured or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.
- Submit your abstract via google form only and the link is provided at bottom of the page.
- Notification regarding acceptance of the submission will be sent to the author through email provided while submitting the abstract.
- Presenting authors will only receive the certificate of participation.
- One abstract will be considered for best paper and best poster award category only.
- The scientific committee reserves the right to accept / reject / assign a different presentation type to all the abstracts submitted.
The abstract should contain the following subheadings
- Title
- Authors name(s)
- Affiliation
- Background and Introduction (include aims and objectives)
- Methods (include statistical analysis if applicable)
- Results
- Conclusion
- Funding
- Acknowledgements
- Key words
- References ( up to 10 with latest citations)
